Development Plan Representations - Land North of Warboys, Cambridgeshire
Situation
Our client is interested in securing planning permission for the development of her large parcel of equestrian land on the edge of Warboys, Cambridgeshire for residential development of an appropriate scale.
The Case
Our client approached the Landscope stall at the British Eventing Little Downham Horse Trials in June 2023 seeking advice in respect for the potential development of her large parcel of equestrian land on the edge of Warboys, Cambridgeshire. Our client is interested in securing planning permission for the development of her site for residential development of an appropriate scale.
The client was understandably unaware of the Huntingdonshire District Council's timeframes for its development plan preparation. Thankfully the Council had opened a 'Call for Sites' consultation period in which landowners were invited to submit their sites as future development sites. Landscope received an instruction to undertake the work a week before the deadline for representation.
Our Response
Landscope prepared and submitted comprehensive written representations in support of the residential allocation of a large parcel of land on the edge of the market town of Warboys within the agreed timetable with the Council. We had to work in an efficient and diligent manner to ensure that our client's representations were submitted in time.
The comprehensive representations, which included a complete Justification Statement, Site Location Plan and Indicative Site Layout demonstrate how the site can be developed in a sustainable and logical manner which will deliver community benefits on site such as additional landscaping, Biodiversity Net Gain and Public Open Space.
What our client thought
‘Landscope were friendly, professional, responsive to my needs and provided advice which was well thought through. I was impressed with how quick and efficient they were in puling the information together to meet the deadline. As a result, I feel confident that the case we have presented to the council is the strongest possible.'
