We offer many services, so you may find it difficult to pinpoint exactly what The Landscope Effect looks like. Is it helping you appeal your rejected planning application? Is it discovering the best way to develop your rural land and property to diversify? Is it finding excellent solutions for your equestrian facilities? The short answer is yes. All of that. You may have seen us use #TheLandscopeEffect on our socials but we’re going to look a little deeper into what that actually means.
Values
With strong farming and equestrian roots, we have retained those traditional values such as integrity and a commitment to deliver excellent results. However, we understand that this alone is not enough nowadays, so we intertwine this with a modern approach that is future-proofed and gets the best from your land and property. We’re fully aware that planning rules and processes can change, so we’re committed to keeping ahead of the curve with continuous research and development of our knowledge of the planning system. We will always strive to find the best solution for you as our goal is to help other rural businesses thrive.
Expertise
Our advice is based on over 30 years of practical experience of the planning system and a lifetime of being in and around rural properties and businesses. Whilst the scale and complexity of projects may vary, our delivery is always backed by the same high level of expertise by drawing upon that vast experience and skillset. We’re proud to be members of:
• Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
• Central Association of Agricultural Valuers
• British Institute of Agricultural Consultants
• Institute of Professional Soil Scientists
• Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment
Results
We helped a client to get planning permission to build a polo yard in Cambridgeshire, complete with house, outbuildings, 17 stables, tack shed and training facilities back in 2016. This is now a very successful training and livery facility.

We were able to help a hard working, farming couple get established by gaining permission for calf rearing barns and temporary dwelling in 2019.

We helped a family gain permission to expand their rapidly growing business. They have expanded to meet the needs and desires of a growing number of local people from Bedford and surrounding villages, seeking delicious fresh fruit and vegetables, without having to go into the supermarkets.
If you’d like to help us deliver The Landscope Effect and have significant experience in the planning sector, why not apply for our Senior Planning Consultant vacancy
